Phineas McBurnie, also known as “Finn” is a successful 15 year old sub- junior Australian competitor in the sport of sporting clays, having represented Australia internationally and achieved notable performances at home and
abroad, including a 3rd place at the FITASC Oceania Championships 2 years running and placing in the top 10 of the 2025 FITASC World Championships recently held in cyprus. Finn is placed 19th fitasc junior in the world and is on his way to be in the top 5 best junior shooters of the world.
Despite limited formal coaching, Finn has carved his path to the top ranks of the sport — relying on sharp instincts, dedication, and an ability to learn from some of Australia’s most experienced competitors.
